Our client is well-established company and have been working delivering prestigious feature staircases since 1974. They are experts in providing creative solutions for turnkey staircases of the highest quality.

The success of the company lies in the commitment from the team and the passion that they possess about our products in order to provide an outstanding service to clients. They are recognised for providing creative solutions and having the ability to collaborate through outstanding project management experience.

Our client is a project led business and looks to secure 10 - 15 projects per year, so quality not quantity is the goal. The cost of the projects can range from £250k to £2.5m.

Job Overview

As the Business Development Executive within the team you will be pivotal to the ongoing success of our client.

There is always a continuous requirement for my client to be recognised as market leaders and the BDE will continuously reach out to pipeline and new clients to demonstrate this in terms of design, value and quality of turnkey feature staircases.

The role of the Business Development Executive:

* As part of the Sales & Marketing Team ensuring Alpine has the right size pipeline filled with the right type and size of projects.

* Utilising the CRM database to contact new and lapsed clients to discuss what service and bespoke products can be offered.

* Lead generation and keeping in touch with clients re ongoing projects.

* Booking appointments for the client visits for the Sales Director to attend - approximately 10 – 15 per week in a geographical area.

* Building long term relationships with Architects, Quantity Surveyors for new and repeat business with feature staircases.

* Ensuring a close liaison with the leading contractors within the specific markets.

* Working to company targets.

* Being an ambassador for the group and demonstrating contribution to the Vision and Mission and “living the values”.

The person for the Business Development Executive:

* 2 years+ experience in a similar role

* Must be comfortable working with a CRM system and database.

* Able to demonstrate working to, and achieving, personal targets.

* Possess first class communication skills and be comfortable with some cold calling.

* Be a team player.

* Can be organised and proactive.

* Must be systems and process driven

* Be able to project a professional image.

* A good level of education

It would be desirable to have industry experience, but not essential. However, you must have a head for sales and the sales process.
