The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor with 2 to 8 years' PQE to join a highly regarded law firm, recognised by the Legal, as part of their prestigious Employment team. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a broad spectrum of employment law matters, advising both employers and employees, and managing complex Employment Tribunal cases.
Within this Employment Solicitor role, your day-to-day duties may include:
1. Advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination claims, TUPE, redundancy processes, and employment contracts.
2. Representing clients in employment tribunals, preparing pleadings, witness statements, and other key documents.
3. Supporting senior team members on complex cases and larger client matters.
4. Drafting and reviewing employment policies, contracts, and agreements.
5. Providing commercially focused advice to both employers and employees.
6. Keeping up to date with developments in employment law and providing proactive advice on legislative changes.
7. Negotiating settlement agreements and resolving disputes efficiently.
8. Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to achieve favourable outcomes in contentious employment matters.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
9. 2 to 8 years' PQE in Employment Law, with solid experience in managing Employment Tribunal claims and complex employment law matters.
10. Expertise in advising on a wide range of employment law issues including TUPE, redundancy, restrictive covenants, and discrimination.
11. Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
12. Excellent drafting skills for settlement agreements, employment contracts, and other employment related documentation.
13. The ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
14. A proactive approach to business development, with experience in client-facing work and marketing.
15. A desire to mentor and guide junior members of the team and help build the firm's success.
