Building on this success, we’re running the event again this November and expanding our events business significantly in 2026. The Role We’re seeking a
driven and commercially minded sales professional
to lead
sponsorship, exhibition, and delegate sales
for our growing portfolio of legal industry conferences. This is a chance to work directly with
leading global law firms
and
senior decision-makers, driving revenue growth and helping shape the future of our events business. Key Responsibilities
Sell high-value sponsorship, exhibition, and partnership packages
across both established and new events. Build and maintain a
robust sales pipeline
through outbound prospecting (cold-calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns) and inbound lead management. Use a
consultative, solutions-based approach
to engage senior executives and budget holders, aligning event offerings with client goals. Own the full sales cycle
— from prospecting and pitching to closing deals and post-sale account management. Deliver
new business and repeat revenue, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and ROI. Consistently
hit or exceed revenue targets, contributing directly to the company’s growth. Stay informed on
industry trends, client needs, and competitor activity
to spot opportunities and refine event propositions. What We’re Looking For
Proven success
in sponsorship, exhibition, or delegate sales within the events/conferences industry. A strong
track record of exceeding targets
and generating repeat business. Self-motivated, proactive, and commercially astute, with a natural flair for consultative selling. Confident using multiple sales channels (cold-calling, LinkedIn, email) to open new opportunities. Capable of
managing accounts end-to-end, focusing on client retention and lifetime value. Excellent communication skills
— verbal and written. Comfortable working from our
Ashford (Kent) office (Mon–Fri)
initially, moving to a hybrid arrangement after 6 months. Willing to
travel internationally a few times a year
(solo or with colleagues). Tech-savvy
and confident using LinkedIn/Mailchimp for lead generation. The Ideal Candidate Will Be
