Job Description
This is a fixed term post until 14/03/.
The community alarm service provide responsive and preventative support to approximately people living within West Dunbartonshire in their own homes, facilitated by community alarms and other technologies.
We are seeking a flexible and resilient individual to join our busy and dynamic frontline service to undertake a varied role as part of a close-knit team.
The post holder will work with the Care at Home Coordinator and other relevant staff within the section to continue to develop Telecare within the WDC Health and Social Care Partnership. They will identify and address the needs of vulnerable people and/or carers who are referred to the Telecare service. They will carry out Telecare/community alarm assessments when required and review the appropriateness and quality of service provided.
The post holder is responsible for inputting and overseeing subscriptions relating to Community Alarms and will carry out general office duties as required, including handling calls. The role includes involvement in the supervision of staff working within the Community Alarm Team including absence management and team meetings.
Requirements
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found
