Job Description

Our client, an established firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Audit Senior to join their team in Southampton.

You will be responsible for managing a mixed portfolio of clients in various industries, carrying out audits from planning through to completion and preparing audit files. You will also be involved with preparing statutory financial statements and dealing with corporation tax computations.

Audits will normally be carried out on-site, so you will be required to travel to client premises when required.

You will ideally have at least 4-5 years UK practice experience, with good technical knowledge of audit and hold a professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA or equivalent, although study support may be offered to complete these if required.

A good working knowledge of software such as Xero, Sage, Caseware and CCH would also be an advantage.
