Shift Technician
CBRE is seeking a Shift Technician to join our team in Maidenhead. The role involves maintaining and monitoring building systems, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
1. Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance tasks on HV and LV distribution systems, associated plant/equipment, and HVAC systems as per CMMS work orders.
2. Monitor BMS for operational and alarm conditions.
3. Address A/C related client issues.
4. Perform building walk-rounds, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU's, and utilities.
5. Investigate faults, identify causes, and implement remedies.
6. Prepare accurate and timely reports.
7. Ensure repairs comply with current regulations.
8. Assist with installation works as needed.
9. Participate in emergency call-out roster, including weekends and absences.
10. Develop understanding of building layouts, functions, and complexities.
11. Build relationships with Facilities Managers, clients, and staff.
12. Promote safe working practices, quality standards, and best practices.
13. Contribute ideas to improve service levels.
14. Perform other tasks as directed by the Customer Services Supervisor/Contract Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
* 12-hour rotating shifts.
* City & Guilds Electrical Competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
* Good building services knowledge.
* Experience in Critical Environments.
* Strong customer relationship skills.
* Knowledge of 'Permit to work' systems.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and processes.
* Experience with CMMS and BMS systems.
* 17th Edition IEE Regulations.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
* Time-served electrical apprenticeship.
* Experience working in banking environments.
* HV switching qualification/experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* ACoPs L8 certification.
