We are looking for a highly motivated German Speaking Sales Associate in our Inside Sales Team in Europe to provide our team of Directors, Team Managers, and Account Managers with sales administrational support, but also to help with lead triage, outbound qualification, and other sales conversion activities for new and repeat business. The Sales Associate is responsible for a strong sales administrational routine as outlined in highlights below and being the “office backbone” for the Sales Team. We’re looking for the position to be in/near Oxford, so that 3 to 4 office days per week are possible.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Triage or answer incoming customer requests from our Salesforce Sales Queue
2. Triage, contact and qualify leads to opportunities to drive business as requested
3. Manage our instrument contract renewals
4. Create leads lists, i.e. SciLeads, for Account Managers or self-directed prospecting
5. Help with sales events organisation (all aspects from plan to invite to follow-up)
6. Provide additional support as needed, i.e. take meeting notes, channel partner support, proactively manage smaller opportunities, enrich leads lists with missing data
7. Other duties as they arise
Who We're Looking For...
8. Someone with a degree (or equivalent) or substantial experience within the field of Biology
9. An organiser with the drive to succeed in a sales career, who can manage different processes, with the ability to execute and deliver consistently, but also to delegate.
10. You will need to have a strong interest for the commercial aspects of an organisation, as priorities and tasks are defined by sales targets.
11. Equally, priorities can change at short notice, so we’re looking for somebody with a certain degree of flexibility.
12. Not needed, but prior sales and sales administration experience in a research/life science company and Salesforce knowledge, would be highly beneficial.
13. You will be an excellent team player and able to build positive relationships with others. Ideally, you have experience of working in a distributed team, and you're comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
14. You have a positive approach with a can-do mindset and can use your initiative as well as exercise good judgement and tact.
15. We’re looking for the position to be in or near Oxford so that 3 to 4 office days per week are possible or in Germany (Berlin would be preferable)
16. Fluent English and German language skills are required
