SEN Teaching Assistant

The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a designated pupil, delivering tailored support. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will help adapt learning materials, encourage engagement, and provide emotional and behavioural support where needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support as a SEN Teaching Assistant
* Adapt resources and learning activities to meet individual needs
* Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff
* Promote inclusion and independence
Requirements
* Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with additional needs
* Understanding of SEN such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs
* Calm, resilient, and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
