Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Solutions Assistant for a Local Authority Client in Ilford.
In this role, you will provide housing advice, prevent homelessness, and support residents to secure safe and sustainable accommodation.
Duties:
* Assess housing needs and create personalised housing plans for residents.
* Provide advice and support to prevent homelessness or secure alternative accommodation.
* Liaise with landlords, statutory agencies, and voluntary organisations to resolve housing issues.
* Maintain accurate case records and monitor outcomes in line with legislation and Council policy.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
* Conduct housing assessments and develop personalised housing plans.
* Advise and support residents to prevent homelessness or find suitable accommodation.
* Collaborate with landlords, agencies, and support services to resolve housing issues.
* Keep accurate records and update case management systems regularly.
What's on offer:
Salary: £21ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
