Role Overview As the Reception Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for Reception pupils. Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development in line with the EYFS framework. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback to children and parents. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the Early Years curriculum. Embed the school’s Catholic values throughout teaching and classroom activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in EYFS / Reception, ideally in a faith-based setting. Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks. Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills. A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young children.
