About the Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support students across year groups with their learning
* Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
* Assist in implementing Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and EHCP targets
* Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
* Support students in small classes with a high staff-to-student ratio
You will be working with pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and PMLD.
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds a Psychology or Criminology degree (preferred)
* Passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs
* Patient, calm, and compassionate approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* SEN, SEMH, or PMLD experience desirable but not essential
* Resilient and committed to long-term impact
