Rate of Pay: £16.83 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Weekly Hours: 39 hours
Shift Pattern:
1. Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM
2. Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Joiner, you'll carry out a wide range of joinery tasks, both structural and decorative. Your responsibilities will include:
3. Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials to specification
4. Installing doors, windows, staircases, skirting boards, and other fittings
5. Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work plans
6. Using and maintaining hand and power tools safely and effectively
7. Performing general repairs and replacing damaged woodwork or fixtures
8. Erecting access equipment and setting up temporary screening as needed
9. Monitoring stock levels and requesting materials in advance
10. Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and organised
11. Working collaboratively with other trades and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery
12. Recording and reporting job details via mobile technology or job sheets
What We're Looking For:
13. Proven experience in joinery or carpentry, ideally within maintenance or construction
14. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent trade qualification) preferred
15. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work from technical drawings
16. Able to work independently and as part of a team
17. Excellent communication and customer service skills
18. Basic IT/smartphone skills to log and record job activity
19. Full UK driving licence and own tools are advantageous
20. A good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and regulations
