How you'll make an impact As Assistant Tax and Partnership Accountant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient financial operations. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of tax and accounting responsibilities, supporting both corporate and partnership-level reporting while contributing to key financial processes. Key responsibilities include: Supporting partnership and corporation tax compliance, including preparing computations, returns, and reserves Preparing property income accounts, pension allowance calculations, and tax treaty forms Assisting with PAYE settlement agreements and related filings Supporting partner distributions and capital account reconciliations Managing journals, reconciliations, and maintaining ledger integrity Handling VAT queries, monthly checks, and quarterly returns Reviewing payroll outputs and monitoring spend against budgets Maintaining accurate financial documentation and supporting process improvements Liaising with external auditors and tax advisors Supporting ad hoc financial projects as required Why our client is excited about you You're a detail-driven finance professional with a strong grounding in tax and accounting principles, ready to grow your expertise in a dynamic environment.
