Band 6 Radiographer (Diagnostic Radiography) Location: Croydon Health Services NHS Trust (On-site) Band: 6 Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday IR35: Inside IR35 Rate: £27per hour umbrella equivalent Role Overview The Trust is seeking a Band 6 Diagnostic Radiographer to provide high-quality imaging services within an acute NHS hospital setting. The postholder will work as part of a multidisciplinary radiology team, delivering safe, effective and patient-centred diagnostic imaging services in line with Trust policies and national standards. Key Responsibilities Undertake a full range of diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with departmental protocols Ensure safe use of ionising radiation in line with IR(ME)R regulations Deliver high standards of patient care, dignity and communication Work efficiently within a busy imaging department to meet service demands Maintain accurate clinical records using RIS / PACS systems Adhere to clinical governance, infection prevention and health & safety policies Contribute to service continuity and support team-based working Essential Requirements HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer NHS experience at Band 6 level Competence in general radiography within an acute hospital environment Strong understanding of radiation safety and IR(ME)R Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and professional standards Eden Brown Synergy is an equal opportunities employer.
