We are looking for passionate Health Visitors to work within our West Northants 0-19 Health Visiting Team based in Northampton and the Daventry & South Northants area.
The post holder is expected to manage a caseload, prioritising needs to ensure efficient service delivery. This is achieved by working within local cluster areas that enable practitioners to have an enhanced knowledge of their local community and public health needs.

Main duties of the job
Working life
As a Health Visitor, you'll:
* Assess healthcare needs of infants, children, and families.
* Monitor safeguarding and child protection needs of vulnerable families, ensuring the voice of the child is heard and advocated for in multi-agency planning.
* Be professionally accountable for the delivery of care.
* Utilise technology to update records efficiently.
In Northamptonshire, you'll work as part of an integrated skill mix team focused on delivering quality outcomes and improving family experiences. You'll assess and identify health needs and lead health-enhancing short-term interventions. As a leader and influencer across the health and care partnership, you'll work to create change, improve outcomes, and address health inequalities for children in the county. The team includes Practice Teachers, Specialist School Nurses, Community Nurses, Nursery Nurses, Healthy Child Practitioners, and School Nurse Assistants.

You should be adaptable, resourceful, well-organised, confident, and capable of handling diverse situations to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. Leadership, management, communication, problem-solving, and good judgement are essential skills.
