Role overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, driving sales while maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation.
Responsibilities
* Provide a knowledgeable and seamless customer experience for all customers that enter the store.
* Maintain clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and KPI targets by staying informed about current trends, in‑store promotions and evolving store processes.
* Drive sales, ensuring that targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.
* Utilise in‑store devices to showcase the full product range, offering alternatives and add‑on sales at every opportunity.
* Replenish stock levels when needed, ensuring that the full‑size range is available on the shop floor.
* Ensure that products are priced correctly.
* Deputise for other staff, work within departments or carry out other duties as required.
* Represent GO Outdoors in the most professional manner at all times.
* Conduct your work safely and responsibly.
Role Objectives and KPIs
• Provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Actively drive sales to support the store in meeting and exceeding its financial goals.
• Ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock on the shop floor to maintain optimal product availability.

A positive attitude towards a fast‑paced, customer‑focused retail environment; the ability to view challenges as opportunities for personal growth; confident interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays; enthusiasm for learning new skills and developing your career.
