The Role
The CRM Team is part of the Performance Marketing in the Brand Experience (BX) department. It focuses on leveraging customer, campaign, and channel insights to develop a global strategy for engaging, converting, and retaining customers through targeted messaging across all touchpoints.
Customer insight is central to our strategy, informing decisions on personalization, globalization, branding, and new product development, as well as daily marketing activities.
The CRM Executive will help develop and implement ASOS's CRM strategy across channels such as email, SMS, push, in-app, and on-site, working closely with teams including Technology, Customer Insights, Global Development, Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Creative, and Editorial.
This role covers marketing communications related to newness, propositions, promotions, triggered communications, from planning to execution and reporting. It reports to a CRM Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the daily production of multi-channel communications, ensuring timely delivery and high standards, including scoping, briefing, data mining, audience building, deployment, QA, and reporting.
2. Identify and suggest improvements to make communication creation and deployment more efficient and automated.
3. Explore opportunities for automated CRM programs, sourcing data, briefing creative teams, and collaborating to launch dynamic, measurable campaigns.
4. Address CRM-related customer queries, such as account details, orders, and communication preferences.
5. Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to support the Brand Experience vision.
6. Analyze past campaigns and key moments to assess performance and recommend improvements for future campaigns.
7. Assist in developing and analyzing test strategies to optimize campaign effectiveness, sharing insights for continuous improvement.
8. Support the development of multi-channel communication strategies involving email, SMS, push notifications, and other digital channels.
About You
* Experience in a CRM role within an agency or retail environment.
* Familiarity with email deployment tools such as Braze, Responsys, ExactTarget, or Adobe Campaign.
* Basic understanding of HTML.
