Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role (covering Nationwide) for a Fire and Security Systems Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Fire and Security systems. Day-to-day tasks will include installation and maintenance tasks as well as providing remote technical support where required. Additionally, the role involves working closely with clients to address their system needs and ensuring safety and compliance standards are met. Furthermore, there is a
clear pathway
for the employed person to become a team leader/supervisor within the Fire and Security side of the business.
* Ongoing training provided e.g. SSSTS, IPAF, First Aid as well as mandatory Health and Safety Qualifications
* Ongoing systems/manufacturer training

Qualifications
* Strong skills in installing and configuring fire and security systems effectively (CTEC, Advanced, Comelit, Pyronix, Galaxy, Ajax as examples)
* Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in fire and security systems are an advantage e.g. FIA Qualifications or equivalent, Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Fire or Security Systems or equivalent
* Drivers licence (manual and clean) essential
* ECS/CSCS card is essential
* IPAF is an advantage but not essential
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage well with clients and colleagues
* Willingness to learn and further career
