We’re seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Spa Manager to lead our luxury spa and take it to the next level of success. This is a pivotal role for a hands-on leader who can balance a deep passion for wellness with sharp business acumen and a drive to exceed revenue targets.
What you’ll be doing?
As Spa Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the commercial performance and strategic direction of the spa. You’ll lead by example, ensuring every aspect from the reception desk and treatment diary to membership growth and therapist utilisation runs smoothly and profitably.
You’ll:
1. Develop and implement a rate and revenue strategy that maximises treatment occupancy, membership sales, and retail performance
2. Analyse key business metrics, reporting on financial performance and identifying new sales and marketing opportunities
3. Lead and inspire your team of Therapists, Receptionists, and Assistants to deliver a ‘5-bubble’ spa experience with impeccable service standards
4. Champion training, development, and progression, cultivating a motivated team that consistently exceeds guest expectation
5. Oversee budgeting, stock control, and payroll efficiency, maintaining strong cost management while driving growth
Your focus will be on commercial success and operational excellence in equal measure — ensuring the spa thrives as both a guest sanctuary and a profitable business.
What you’ll need?
6. A proven track record in spa or wellness management within a luxury or hotel environment
7. Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with experience in revenue management, forecasting, and business planning
8. The ability to maximise therapist utilisation and diary efficiency to boost yield and profitability
9. Strong leadership and motivational skills which are capable of nurturing, developing and inspiring staff;
10. Previous experience in training and developing staff and be a passionate advocate for apprenticeships and continuous learning;
11. A passion for guest experience, ensuring every visit reflects exceptional standards of care and professionalism
12. Flexibility to work weekends and peak trading times as needed
Most important is to understand a luxury spa environment and be able to inspire & motivate a team to deliver a ‘5 bubble spa rating’ guest experience.
