Electrician
Salary £28,608 - £32,089 per annum

About the Role
As an NTU Electrician, you will be part of the in‑house Estates team that supports and enables the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the university estate.
The role is varied and diverse, with day‑to‑day duties ranging from ensuring that our estate is safe and operational, through to supporting the delivery of key University events such as open days and graduation ceremonies.
Typical Duties
* Undertaking fault finding, routine maintenance tasks and repairs on Low and Extra Low Voltage systems in all the university buildings.
* Electrical installation work to new and existing circuits.
* Supporting the delivery of minor works projects.
* Undertaking electrical testing.
* Undertaking statutory inspections on electrical, fire, emergency lighting and control systems.
* Supporting the set up and delivery of key university events such as open days, graduation and clearing.
