Our client, based in Enfield is currently recruiting for an Income Officer on an 12-month fixed term contract.
The start date is on notice and the salary rate is £35,425.
The ideal candidate will have experience working an Income Officer and have experience attending court.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Monitoring and managing rent accounts to ensure timely collection of rent and service charges
2. Identifying and addressing arrears promptly using intervention strategies
3. Maximising rental income by ensuring charges are correctly applied and recovered Escalating cases in line with policy, including referring to legal or eviction if necessary and attending courtProviding financial guidance to tenants to help them with their tenancy
Experience required:
4. Experience as an Income Officer
5. Experience working with customers in social housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
6. Risk assessment and management
7. Compliance and due diligence
8. Ability to deal with people compassionately
9. Can remain calm under pressure
Working hours:
10. 1 day working from home per week
11. Flexible working hours
12. Monday - Friday
