Finance Manager- Ascot Berkshire - £50,000 - £60,000 + benefits (onsite)
FryerMiles is working with a leading SME company to hire a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hands-on Accountant to help optimise financial processes and ensure accurate transactional flows within the organisation. This is a fast growing company going from strength to strength.
The duties of the Finance Manager include:
1. Management Account preparation and support to the management accountant as required.
2. Ensuring that any unallocated items are investigated proficiently and quickly.
3. Enter purchase ledger invoices onto Sage & Eque2.
4. Reconcile Supplier statements.
5. Complete a weekly payment run.
6. Carry out CIS returns
7. Reconciling bank statements.
8. Answering supplier queries in a timely manner.
9. Processing of Sub-Contractor payment applications and accounting for Retention.
10. Experience using Eque2 and Sage 50 desirable but not essential.
11. Posting of Journals.
The successful Finance Manager will:
12. Ability to develop and sustain relationships with suppliers.
13. Confident and effective telephone skills when taking calls as required.
14. Confident use of Microsoft Excel including using VLOOKUP's and other formulas.
15. Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to
16. Experience working within Accounts in the Construction Industry/New homes building industry.
17. Knowledge of the construction industry, CIS scheme and VAT reversal scheme.
