Job Title: Full-Time Learning Support Assistant – Primary SEND School
Location: Everton, Liverpool
Hours: Full-Time – 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Salary: £85–£100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: September 2025
About the Role: Milk Education is working in partnership with a vibrant and nurturing Primary SEND School in Everton, supporting children aged 4–11 with a range of complex needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team full-time. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of children who require consistent, compassionate, and academically focused support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored academic support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
2. Work 1:1 and in small groups to reinforce learning and promote progress
3. Support pupils with EHCP targets and differentiated learning plans
4. Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and emotional regulation
5. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic care
Essential Requirements:
6. Proven experience working with children with SEN in a school setting
7. Strong understanding of autism, SEMH, and communication needs
8. Ability to support learning across the primary curriculum
9. Excellent communication, patience, and resilience
10. A proactive, nurturing approach with a commitment to inclusion
