About our client: -
Our client is a much-loved high street retail brand with a first-class legacy in delivering fantastic service in the community. The business is entering a significant period of change, whereby they are seeking several new additions to the team to help support and lead change, by empowering and coaching teams to better performance.
What qualities will you need to be successful?
* Proven experience leading a team of multi-site leaders in a retail environment is essential – big box retail or multi-site leaders will be considered.
* A proven track record in field based leadership ideally in retail food environment would be preferred, but is not essential (retail experience however is a must!).
* You will need to lead a variety of retail outlets including food, forecourts and post offices as the beating heart of our client’s portfolio.
* Significant track record of success in driving sales income and net profit by increasing sales volumes and average price, whilst managing people, premises, and other indirect costs.
* Significant track record of demonstrating clear people management skills in coaching, development and performance management, leading through a team of multi-site food professionals will be key to your success.
* A proven track record for always displaying the highest standards in personal and professional integrity even in the most challenging of circumstances.
* Proven problem solver who can manage conflicting priorities and achieves positive outcomes.
* Self-motivated, with an enthusiastic approach to work and a willingness to keep developing yourself professionally/academically.
* Belief that equality and inclusion to improve the working environment.
* You will be field based with this exciting opportunity and will be required to balance your time across various locations through Cambridgeshire and Essex, as well as the ability to work from home and frequent visits to our client’s head office in East Anglia.
