A market leading, global alternative asset manager, going through a strong period of growth, are looking to hire their first HR Business Partner to drive the expansion of corporate / non-investment functions onsite for their rapidly expanding London office.
Joining a stand-alone European HR Director, a lean team of HRBP's and HR Analysts onsite, the hire will work in a highly visible, autonomous role, supporting all corporate functions including finance, operations, risk and legal. As the London office is rapidly building out, the HRBP will have the opportunity to take ownership for a broad range of tasks for these business lines with the remit extending to managing HR infrastructure buildouts, upgrades and project work – a major project is the re-vamping of talent management frameworks. More broadly, the hire will have sole ownership for a broad range of strategic and BAU delivery responsibilities, including managing HR operations & systems, the development and execution of HR policies, having a focus on compensation & benefits, training/promotions/disciplinary management etc. The hire will run point on talent development, employee experience and L&D strategy creation and roll-out.
Candidates should be experienced HR Business Partners, ideally in the management consulting / hedge fund / investment banking space. They must also bring strong experience working with corporate functions (operations, risk, legal, compliance etc) and have a track record of delivering talent development projects. Candidates must have strong stakeholder management experience, project management skills and excellent academics.
This is a first-of-its-kind hire for the firm, so our client is committed to offering the successful candidate a strong increase on his/her current base and a year one target TC range with a higher end of £200k+ TC. The firm also offer a fantastic benefits package and a sign-on bonus to off-set any bonus incentives one will be forgoing at this time of the year.
