Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible Research Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Scarborough Hospital, on a 12 month fixed-term contract. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of clinical trials across the Trust, making a real impact on patient care and the future of healthcare.Reporting to the Trust Lead Research Nurse or Senior Research Nurse, you'll provide comprehensive administrative and clinical support, working hands-on on several portfolio studies. This role offers the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, develop your skills in clinical research, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Flexibility is keyyou'll support colleagues across different research specialties and sites, including GP surgeries if required. You'll also work hands-on alongside our Research Nurses and AHP's, providing vital clinical support. At least two years' experience in clinical research would be advantageous, and excellent communication skills are essential. You'll support and reassure patientssome of whom may be seriously ill or distressedwith sensitivity and professionalism.
