Permanent Veterinary Surgeon – Barnsley

* The client is seeking a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-managed independent small animal practice.
* The role will suit a clinician who values early diagnosis, sound case work-ups, and clear client communication.
* The successful candidate will deliver a mix of consultations and surgery, contribute to second-opinion cases, and participate in a balanced surgical rota. Confidence with sole charge will be required after an induction period.
* The practice offers 15-minute consults, protected same-day and emergency slots, and no on call.
* Professional development is supported with fully funded CPD, certificate funding where relevant, and in-house training on all equipment. The salary is dependent on experience.
