Contract: Long-Term / Potential for Permanent
Pay: £120–£180 per day (depending on experience)

Cover People are delighted to be working with a well-regarded Primary School in Salford, who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5/6 Teacher to join their team.
The school is known for its supportive leadership, welcoming atmosphere, and strong sense of community. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every child is challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their potential.
The Role:
Teach a mixed Year 5/6 class, preparing pupils for SATs and transition to secondary school.
Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
Track pupil progress and provide feedback to support learning.
Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards across Upper Key Stage 2.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Recent experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 or Year 6 preferred).
Confident in preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments.
Positive classroom management and a passion for pupil development.
DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
