GSL Education are currently recruiting confident and caring Teaching Assistants to work in vibrant and supportive schools located in Long Eaton. As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a key role in helping students thrive by supporting teaching staff and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
* Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons.
* Provide targeted one-to-one or small group support.
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Assist with behaviour management and learning activities.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, offering feedback to teaching staff.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children or in school settings is preferred.
* A proactive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
* A full, up-to-date CV, with explanations for any employment gap.
