Adults Support Workers (Promoting Independence Assistants)
Based in Worcester with travel across the county. Part & full time roles available (to be discussed at interview). Salary: £13.26 - £13.47 plus 8% enhancement for Sunday working, + £250 welcome bonus.
Working Patterns
Permanent role with flexible hours. Shifts available day, evening, weekend. Service runs from 7 AM to 10 PM with various shift patterns. Contracts subject to availability.

The role
As a Support Worker (Promoting Independence Assistant) in reablement, you will help customers regain and promote their independence and continue living in their own home following hospital discharge or crisis intervention. This includes assisting clients to relearn skills such as personal care, hygiene, dressing, mobility support, and meal preparation. Initially hands‑on assistance may be required, but the focus is on enabling and encouraging service users to do as much for themselves as possible.
About You
We are looking for people who demonstrate a can‑do attitude, are proactive, compassionate, and empathetic. You should have a commitment to developing the lives of people and be passionate about providing care and support. Good communication and excellent organisational skills are essential. You must understand maintaining the health, safety and wellbeing of service users in their own homes.
Travel required
Travel around Worcestershire is required. A full driving licence and your own vehicle are essential.
