NPD Project Coordinator Sector: Food Manufacturing Location: Norfolk Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday - Days, site based Salary: Negotiable - package will reflect experience ISQ Recruitment is supporting a food manufacturing business in Norfolk with the recruitment of an NPD Project Coordinator. This is an internally focused, hands-on coordination role supporting day-to-day new product activity - keeping projects organised, documentation controlled, and factory trials properly planned. You’ll be involved in development kitchen work and factory trials, with the main focus on coordination, documentation and keeping projects on track. We’re happy to consider a range of backgrounds - from someone experienced in NPD coordination to someone ready to step up. The package will reflect the level brought into the role. Key Responsibilities Support NPD and EPD activity from brief through to launch, keeping actions, timelines and sign-offs on track Maintain organised project files and folders, including photos, product information, samples and customer packs Prepare information for customer submissions, presentations and sample handovers Support trial planning - what’s needed, who needs to be involved, paperwork required, and capturing outputs/actions Create and maintain factory documentation (for example, line forms and trial paperwork) Support packaging and label coordination, including version control and sign-off tracking Assist with raw material information gathering, specifications and basic data collation Help maintain nutritional and product data, ensuring records are accurate and up to date Work closely with commercial and technical stakeholders to keep communication clear and practical What We’re Looking For (Essential) Strong organisation and attention to detail - comfortable running structured admin across multiple projects Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment, including time in factory and kitchen areas Clear communicator who can coordinate across different teams and keep things moving Genuine interest in NPD and how products move from idea to production Desirable Experience supporting NPD, technical, QA, specifications, artwork coordination or product admin within food manufacturing Food Science / Food Technology qualification (or relevant training) Exposure to stage-gate processes, specifications systems, or document control Confidence supporting customer-facing work (site walkarounds, presentations) as you build experience The Environment This role sits at the centre of day-to-day product activity. It suits someone practical, organised, and comfortable being the person who keeps detail tight - particularly around trials, documentation, and internal coordination.
