We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ESOL Tutor to support learners in the Bedford area. This role involves delivering personalised English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tuition either within a school setting or at a pupil’s home during school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and tailored ESOL tuition sessions based on individual learner needs.
* Support learners in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English.
* Plan and adapt lessons to suit different language abilities and learning styles.
* Build confidence and encourage learner participation and progress.
* Monitor learner development and provide feedback where required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience teaching or tutoring ESOL learners is preferred.
* Good understanding of ESOL teaching methods and the UK curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage sessions effectively.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Right to work in the UK.
