Job Overview
MBDA is looking for an HR Advisor to join our Employee Relations (ER) team on a fixed‑term contract of 12months. Salary is circa £50,000, depending on experience. The role requires a hybrid working schedule, with 2 days per week on‑site.
Responsibilities
* Manage complex employee relations cases and provide practical solutions.
* Develop and implement procedures, guidance and resources to support employees and managers.
* Coach and advise on innovative employee relations solutions, including engagement activities.
* Review and implement contract‑related solutions and resources.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Trade Union Representatives and Company Ambassadors.
* Apply employment legislation knowledge in a business context with integrity and commercial astuteness.
* Facilitate and mediate to resolve conflicts and promote a positive ER climate.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in complex case management and trade union activities.
* Proficient in employment legislation, procedure development and terms & conditions writing.
* Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills at all levels of the business.
* Coaching, facilitation and mediation experience.
* Adaptability to a collaborative, flexible and hybrid working environment.
* Experience working in a unionised environment or with employee representatives is an advantage.
