RCSEng Robotic Fellow (2nd post) – Starting March 2027
Applications are invited for a two Robotic RCSEng in Urology our unit. Both posts are accredited RCSEng and are full time fixed term appointment. The first post will commence in October 2026 and the second in March 2027 for a period of mandatory 12 months and are based at Lister Hospital in Stevenage.

The department includes five robotically trained Consultants (three of whom are national and international proctors in Robotic Urology). The Trust has 2X da Vinci Xi Dual Console robot and a CMR robot, which has further enhanced training opportunities within the department. The department is recognized as a centre of excellence by The Vattikuti Foundation, one of only three centers in Europe.
Main duties of the job
During the two post it is envisaged that the successful candidate will gain skills in a whole breadth of robotic procedures to including RALP, RALC, intracorporeal reconstruction, RAPN and Robotic Pyeloplasty. The posts are ideally suited to a post-CCT (or equivalent) candidate who can focus on sub-specialty training in Robotics. Our previous Fellows have published and presented at national and international meetings.

* Hold a current licence to practice from the General Medical Council
* FRCS (Urol) or equivalent higher degree in Urology
* Advanced Life Support Certificate or equivalent
Previous Experience
