Working closely with the Tax Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality personal taxpliance work, including the preparation and submission of personal tax returns, corporation tax returns and P11Ds. Approximately 70% of the role will bepliance-focused, with increasing involvement in advisory matters as the department continues to grow—making this an excellent opportunity for someone who is ambitious and keen to progress. You will have the autonomy to work directly with clients, support business development activity, and contribute to shaping the continued success of the tax function.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have at least 2–3 years’ experience within tax in an accountancy practice environment and befortable managing your own portfolio ofpliance work. You will ideally be ATT or CTA qualified or studying towards this. You’ll be confident preparing personal tax returns and P11Ds, with a willingness to develop corporation tax experience. Strongmunication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients are essential. Experience using IRIS and strong general IT capabilities will also be highly advantageous.What you’ll get in return
