Job Description
Are you a Qualified Accountant looking for a move into the Public Sector?Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to strengthen the team.Reporting to the Head of Finance, The FBP will be responsible for;
3. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.
4. Collaborate with operational teams to develop and manage budgets effectively.
5. Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
6. Prepare and present financial reports to senior stakeholders.
7. Support strategic planning and forecasting activities.
8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
9. Act as a trusted advisor on financial matters with non finance budget holders.
10. Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
11. Professional qualifications in accounting or finance, (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA)
12. Proven ability to provide financial insights and recommendations.
13. Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. Knowledge of financial regulations relevant to the public sector.
16. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
17. Proficiency in financial software and tools.
