The Diocese of Chester is seeking to recruit an Interim Ministry Support Officer who will provide operational delivery, administrative coordination and consistent pastoral support across ordained ministry pathways, particularly discernment, IME Phase 2 and clergy transitions, under the strategic oversight of the Directors of Ministry.
The role will provide additional capacity across key areas of the team’s work during a period of review and development, maintaining continuity in core operational support while the Ministry Team aligns its structures and ways of working with emerging diocesan strategy and priorities.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be committed to collaborative ministry, with a proven ability to work well within a newly reorganised and highly motivated team. They will have a proven ability to undertake detailed work involving planning, process and organisation, including meeting specific deadlines.
Part Time – 28 hours per week
This is an interim, fixed-term post for a period of 9 months
(Actual salary for working 28 hours is £22969.58 – £24089.40)
