Key Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Paint Sprayer Team Leader to work for our client based in Havant.
Job Summary
To lead and take ownership of the paint shop, ensuring high-quality powder coating and wet spray finishes are delivered on time, to specification, and to company standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical skill with the drive to improve processes, develop the team, and make the paint shop a centre of excellence.
Responsibilities
* Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the paint shop, making decisions to keep production on track.
* Lead by example, setting high standards in workmanship, organisation, and discipline.
* Plan and allocate workloads to meet production schedules and priorities.
* Train, coach, and mentor paint shop team members to develop skills and flexibility.
* Take initiative to identify and implement improvements to processes, quality, and efficiency.
Technical & Production Duties
* Carry out powder coating and wet spraying to a high industrial standard.
* Operate and maintain paint shop equipment, including spray guns, booths, and ovens.
* Perform aluminium pre-treatment processes, including Iridite NCP (training provided).
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures, technical data sheets, and safety data sheets.
