We are recruiting a SEN Learning Support Assistant to focus on delivering targeted interventions across KS2 in a Gateshead primary school.
About the role:
This is a slightly more specialised LSA position, where you will work with small groups of pupils who need additional support to reach expected levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver structured intervention sessions in reading, writing, and maths
* Support pupils with SEND and learning gaps
* Track progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
* Adapt resources to meet individual learning needs
* Build confidence and engagement in learning
Requirements:
* Experience supporting KS2 pupils (desirable)
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Organised and proactive approach
* Passion for helping pupils progress
