EYFS Teacher – Long-Term Role

We are seeking a passionate and qualified EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Chelmsford on a long-term basis.
This role is ideal for an EYFS practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality early years education and is looking for consistency, continuity, and the opportunity to become part of a supportive school community.
The Role:
1. Plan and deliver engaging, child-led learning in line with the EYFS framework
2. Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment
3. Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
4. Observe, assess, and track progress using EYFS assessment methods
5. Work collaboratively with EYFS staff, leadership, and parents
6. Maintain high standards of behaviour, wellbeing, and safeguarding
The Ideal Candidate Will:
7. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
8. Have experience teaching in EYFS within a UK primary or nursery setting
9. Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child-led pedagogy
10. Be enthusiastic, caring, and adaptable
11. Be seeking a long-term EYFS role
