Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced Caretaker to maintain our buildings and facilities, ensuring they are secure, functional, and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
You will join our Facilities Management team based at Craylands Primary School. Your duties will include routine maintenance, managing repairs, enforcing security protocols, and keeping the premises clean and orderly.
We seek a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills who takes pride in maintaining high standards and creating safe, welcoming environments.
This is a part-time, permanent position totaling 13 hours per week. The shifts are scheduled for Wednesdays 2PM-7PM and Fridays 7AM-3PM, with flexible hours during school holidays.

Key responsibilities:
* Ensure the security of school buildings and grounds through locking, unlocking, patrols, and monitoring.
* Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance as per schedules and your skills.
* Provide access, escort, and liaise with service providers for remedial or maintenance work.
* Carry out minor repairs and decoration works.
* Respond to emergencies such as floods or bodily fluids, performing rectifications as per procedures.
* Check BMS, boilers, hot water, pest inspections, drains, gullies, and plant rooms.
* Perform daily duties like litter picking, bin emptying, sweeping, and refreshing toilets.
Key Requirements
* General DIY skills, minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills.
* Good customer service skills.
* A friendly and approachable personality.
* Ability to liaise with external service providers.
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
