Overview
We are currently recruiting Dual Skilled Electrical & Mechanical Engineers on a long-term contract basis for a leading client within the rail rolling stock industry, based in Liverpool. These roles sit within the maintenance team and offer the opportunity to work either day shifts or a rotating shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on rail rolling stock
* Fault finding and diagnosis on electrical and mechanical systems
* Perform inspections, repairs, overhauls, and component changes
* Ensure all work is completed in line with safety, quality, and industry standards
* Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports
* Work collaboratively within a depot-based maintenance team
Essential Requirements
* Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Electrical qualification preferred, however strong mechanical backgrounds will be considered
* Experience in a maintenance or engineering environment
* Ability to fault-find and work across electrical and mechanical systems
* Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
Desirable Experience
* Previous rail or rolling stock experience
* Experience working within a regulated or safety-critical environment
