Pay, benefits and more:
You’ll be paid a salary of £110,000 - £125,000, depending upon experience. You’ll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Lead and deliver safe, compliant and efficient operations across multiple sites
* Drive a strong behavioural safety culture, ensuring colleague wellbeing is always the priority
* Own all contract KPIs — including delivery performance, compliance, H&S and cost control
* Implement operational and commercial plans to support growth and deliver budgeted performance
* Ensure consistency of processes, systems and best practice across the network
* Work closely with the customer, attending and producing reporting packs
* Identify and deliver optimisation, cost‑saving and continuous improvement initiatives
* Support the development, coaching and succession planning of your direct reports
* Create a culture centred around engagement, accountability and high performance
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience leading large, complex, multi-site operation within a fast paced 3PL/logistics environment is essential
* Confident leadership style with the ability to engage, influence and coach at all levels
* A track record of delivering safe operations with a behavioural‑based safety focus
* Commercial acumen and experience managing budgets, KPIs and contract performance
* Strong customer relationship skills with the ability to influence at all levels
* Demonstrable success in change management, operational improvement and optimisation
