Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation and repair of windows, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and the ability to work with different materials. The Window Fitter will be responsible for both residential and commercial projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
* Install, repair, and replace windows in residential and commercial buildings.
* Measure and cut materials to ensure precise fitting of windows.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
* Interpret schematics and technical drawings to execute installations accurately.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, to complete projects efficiently.
* Conduct inspections of installed windows to ensure quality standards are met.
* Perform maintenance tasks such as plastering, painting, and masonry as required.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in window fitting or a related field such as construction or carpentry.
* Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, plastering, and masonry is advantageous.
* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to window installation.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret technical documents.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Good physical fitness as the role may require lifting heavy materials and working at heights.

Pay: £25,000.00-£57,981.67 per year
