Employer Engagement Consultant
The Growth Company’s (GC) Employment team has an excellent opportunity for an Employer Engagement Consultant to provide a quality recruitment service to GC’s employment programmes, supporting customers and employers across the Greater Manchester area.
GC Employment helps to make a lasting difference to the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment.
Our highly skilled advisers and keyworkers work with a range of individuals, from people who have recently found themselves out of work, to those with complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental ill health, and debt.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Promote and sell GC’s products and services to employers.
2. Identify clients’ recruitment and workforce development needs, and provide appropriate solutions.
3. Develop ongoing relationships with employers who have previously used our services, ensuring repeat business.
4. Meet with customers regularly.
5. Develop a thorough understanding of GC’s product range and make referrals to product teams across the Group to meet monthly targets.
6. Ensure all management information (MI) is accurate and relevant systems are updated daily.
7. Use your communication skills and experience to build your network through activities such as generating mailshots, cold calling, attending employer events, and developing rapport with GC colleagues.
About You:
8. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate with employers.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Well-developed IT skills.
11. Excellent stakeholder management.
Requirements:
12. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
13. Previous sales or recruitment experience.
14. Recent experience of working to challenging targets within a sales environment.
15. A self-motivated individual who is KPI-driven and performs well under pressure.
16. Knowledge of recruitment and training services.
17. Strong understanding of local labour markets.
18. Good knowledge of welfare-to-work and the employability customer base is desirable.
