We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work with precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities
* Perform MIG welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication tasks.
* Fabricate components from sheet metal, following engineering drawings and specifications.
* Assemble parts and structures, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the process.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency in production.
Experience
* Proven experience in welding, particularly with MIG methods.
* Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise is advantageous but not necessary.
* Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
* Experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
* Previous experience in assembly work is advantageous but not essential.
