Reporting directly to the Chief Executive you will join our Corporate Management Team, contributing to the strategic direction and management of the council to meet the challenges of service planning, delivery and modernisation in the context of devolution and local government reorganisation.
We’re looking for a strategic leader with a strong track record in either housing, digital, revenue and benefits, or waste services; someone who thrives on complexity, leads with ambition and purpose, and inspires others to deliver five-star customer service.
You’ll oversee a diverse and high-impact portfolio, including:
1. Housing and Homelessness services
2. Digital and ICT services
3. Revenue and Benefit services
4. Customer Contact services
5. Waste, Recycling and Street Cleansing
6. Emergency Planning
