The Role
As the Community and Corporate Events Manager, you’ll take ownership of the charity’s events calendar — creating and delivering a range of engaging, purposeful, and high-impact community and corporate events.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver fundraising events such as sponsored challenges, gala balls, and community engagement days
*
Develop innovative new event ideas that drive participation and increase income
*
Manage event logistics, budgets, venues, suppliers, and volunteers
*
Work with service teams to ensure lived experience is central to event storytelling
*
Lead on marketing and social media promotion for events and campaigns
*
Build strong relationships with local businesses, schools, community groups, and supporters
*
Track event performance, producing reports and insights to support growth
*
Represent the charity at community and corporate events, building stakeholder relationships
About You
We’re looking for someone who’s:

Experienced in managing events — ideally within fundraising, community engagement, or the charity sector
*
Creative, organised, and strategic, with excellent attention to detail
*
A confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
*
Passionate about making a difference and supporting people in need
*
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
*
Flexible, with the ability to work occasional evenings/weekends for events
*
A car driver with access to a vehicle insured for business use
