Due to recent promotions and retirements, a well reputable FMCG Manufacturer in the Runcorn / Widnes are currently looking to offer excellent benefits to an Electrical bias Engineer.
This role offers the opportunity to work for a true independent market leader and established global brand. Role Description
6. Complete installations and maintenance on all production, processing, and packaging equipment.
7. Working closely with a team of Engineers, reporting directly into the Senior Shift Engineer
8. Assist external contractors as required.
9. Carry out site PPM’s to Shire maintenance system.
10. Provide pro-active support to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
11. Comply with H&S, Food Safety and HACCP procedures.
12. Identify and implement new areas for continuous improvement.
13. Support on a wide variety of Projects – New installations, continuous improvement, and site developments
14. Stand in for Senior Shift Engineer when required, supporting the more Junior Engineers on site.
15. Attend Site meetings.
16. Contribute to the positive engineering team culture on site.
17. Follow area GMP assessments take action when required and report on findings.
18. Work with the Senior Shift Engineer to initiate cost saving improvements to improve site efficiencies.
Skills and Qualifications
19. Qualified in an Engineering discipline – Electrical Engineering qualifications
20. Previous experience working within FMCG – Food or Pharmaceutical advantageous
21. Able to work effectively under pressure.
22. Excellent team player
23. Able to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines.
24. Strong problem-solving skills.
25. Ability to engage positively with production to ensure equipment good information exchange of equipment issues and best practice
