We are partnering with a Private Equity backed highly acquisitive group to appoint a Head of Finance for a £20 million revenue business based in Newcastle.
This is a high impact leadership role offering real influence visibility and progression within a growth focused environment.
The Opportunity
As Head of Finance you will take full ownership of the day to day finance function for a £20 million turnover operation within a dynamic and expanding group.
You will act as a true commercial partner to the operational leadership team while ensuring robust financial control reporting and performance visibility.
This role is ideal for
* An existing Head of Finance
* A Divisional Finance Director
* A strong Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance Manager ready to step up into a leadership role
Sector Experience Essential
We are particularly interested in candidates from Facilities Management environments including
* Hard FM or M&E highly desirable
* Soft FM also considered
Experience in contract led operationally complex margin sensitive environments will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
* Full ownership of monthly management accounts and reporting
* Business partnering with operational leadership
* Budgeting forecasting and cashflow management
* Driving margin improvement and commercial insight
* Ensuring financial controls and governance standards
* Supporting integration of acquisitions where required
* Leading and developing the finance team
What We Are Looking For
* Fully qualified accountant ACA ACCA or CIMA
* Strong commercial acumen
* Experience in FM or contract driven businesses
* Ability to operate in a Private Equity backed fast paced environment
* Confident stakeholder manager with leadership capability
